All our love of horses started at a young age. I wasn’t able to have a horse or regular lessons when I was younger, but both of my daughters have had many lessons over the years and I started again in my 30’s and I am now in my 50’s and still learning from these beautiful creatures.
We currently have 2 Galaxy a Conemara / Thoroughbred and Biscuit a cute little Dartmoor.

I’ve assisted my girls through pony clubs both centre and branch and helped my oldest daughter pass her BHS stages and whilst doing them myself also mastered round penning and natural horsemanship skills along with doing horse Psychology, Equine First Aid and Horse Management courses online during lockdown during the COVID pandemic of 2020/21.
The plans changed over the months as we added extra things like a round pen a much needed road due to the mud and getting cars stuck, an extra pony and as the budget and weather allowed.

We have had many challenges along the way including flooding and issues with turnout.
This blog is all about how we do things after finding our way over the years it’s in no way telling anyone ‘how to’ or advice just to share our ways in the blog and give ideas.
I have then gone on to do many training courses in Horse First Aid, Horse Psychology, Trauma in Horses and even big words like zoopharmacognosy and others!
We hope you enjoy.
